Before pursuing her own photography full-time, April was the Image Coordinator for legendary National Geographic and Magnum photographer, Steve McCurry, who shot one of the most recognizable portraits in the world - the beautiful young girl from Afghanistan with the piercing green eyes.
April was born and raised in a small town in southern Georgia. After eleven unbeatable years in The Big Apple and a few in the City of Angels, she recently moved back to the Dirty South. She currently resides in Atlanta (Decatur) with her husband, two daughters, and beloved pooch Lulu, rescued from the mean streets of Mexico.
