My Photo Shoot with the Ever-So-Glam Itzel

I know I always say this – or think it, anyway – but this was my favorite shoot to date.  Itzel was full of ideas, enthusiasm, and was a blast to work with….not to mention her gorgeous good looks.  Itzel, by the way, is my beloved au pair, who leaves us in May.  She has been extraordinary.  She moved with us from NYC, has been like a big sister (or second mother) for my beautiful girls, is an incredible role model, brilliant, patient….just simply – AMAZING!  I will miss her more than I am capable of expressing in words.  For you, my dear Itzel – May life take you places only your dreams have imagined.  You are loved – and you will be missed terribly.  (tears….sniff, sniff.)

New Babies Gallery

Hello everybody!  (or every pony, as my daughter would say.  We’re talking serious My Little Pony obsession here.)  Well, I’ve been working on the new site lately and here’s a little vignette – the babies slideshow.  These kiddos are so adorable, it was painful to edit.  I wish I could include them all!

Here’s to the babes in your life….

Big fun with Epworth Day School

Below are some of my faves from a recent shoot at Epworth Day School.  I’ve never shot so many kids in such a short time.  It was exhilarating – such a blast!  And the outcome was better than I imagined.  There were so many great shots, it was seriously tough to edit.  (A very good problem to have.)  A big thank you to Epworth Day School and their amazing director, Michelle Hughes.  You rock, lady!

(More to come soon….)

Whew, I’m back!

After a big move from NYC to Atlanta, I am finally getting back into the swing of things (although I still miss NYC terribly)!  There really is no greater city.  We lived there for ten amazing, adventurous years.  I hate to think of anything in the past as being ‘the best it’s ever going to get’, but our time there was beyond my wildest dreams (like those my teenage self would frequently have while flipping through the pages of my beloved Sassy Magazine).  We got to do things we never would have otherwise, and made lots of special friends along the way.  But here we are now, starting a new chapter – Southern-style – and I’m excited about the future.  So NYC and anyone who’s had the great pleasure to visit or live there, this one’s for you!  You will always be adored – loved – missed – cherished.
