what (not) to wear

It’s difficult to say what your child should wear, as each session is tailored to the individual. April will help guide you through this decision during the initial consultation and encourages you to bring several options to the shoot.  After you have secured your session, we will send suggestions and wardrobe inspiration (hello visuals!!).

For groups, it’s usually best to stick with coordinating colors. Think – casual chic.  Since we like to capture the natural essence of a child with a timeless feel, it’s perhaps easier to list what NOT to wear:

* anything stiff or formal – leave the “Sunday’s Best” at home.

* anything printed with trendy logos, cartoon characters, etc.

And that’s it!  Keep in mind that the focus is your child’s spirit.  Feel free to bring along your child’s favorite stuffed animal or toy.  We welcome the little messes (e.g. popsicle lips, grocery store feet, windblown hair) and our ultimate goal is capturing the genuine nature of each child (with some funky accessories, of course!).

Rahman - I love these photos! Such a small world. I know Mary Sue and she’s very warm and fuzzy and such a fatsatnic person and mom. Our sons go to pre-school together. It was so nice of you to share these. I will have to compliment her on these photos when I see her next because she looks stunning!
